1985, Apple Steel Rule Die Co.,
has gone from a startup to one
of the largest steel rule die
manufacturers in the United
States. To further enhance our
hold on the die making marketplace,
Apple purchased Ashwell Label
Die in November, 2003. Ashwell,
now known as Apple South, manufactures
Magnetic Flexible Dies, Magnetic
Cylinders, Anvils, Printing
Cylinders,Envelope Systems,and
other related products. The
rapid growth has been facilitated
by providing our customers with
the three things that are the
most important to them:

shipped the same or next day
after receipt.

Our
exclusive discount program insures
our customers of the finest
quality die at the lowest possible
price. Apple has been able to
accomplish its phenomenal growth
through a unique combination
of man and machine. The craftsman
at Apple have over two centuries
of combined experience in the
manufacturing of close tolerance
dies, enabling Apple to make
dies for, but not limited to;
flexible circuits, displays,
folders, gaskets, heat sealing,
labels, decals, nameplates,
overlays, membrane switches,
packaging, vacuum forming.

| In
addition to our experienced
die makers, Apple uses only
the latest in die making technology,
from our modem file transmission
and computer aided drafting
system, to our lasers, automatic
benders and quality control
scanning machine. Thus, with
the combination of qualified
craftsman and the latest equipment,
no job is too difficult for
Apple. In fact, 30-40% of the
dies that we produce have tolerance
requirements of +/- .005".
To insure these tolerances,
we quality control sample all
our rigid tolerance dies with
the actual material that you
will be die cutting and we check
these samples with our unique
computer controlled scanning
that has accuracy of .001 of
an inch.

group of craftsman, along
with the most advanced equipment
available because we are well
aware that your customers
are demanding faster deliveries
which means that our die making
lead times are being reduced.

we have mylar and sample making
capabilities should you need
same for proofing and/or printing
purposes.
Finally, for those of you
that make your own dies, Apple
can ship laser burned boards
to any point in North America
the same day that the order
is received.
